Fall, its themes and depressive moods

Hello, dear readers,

Well, fall is here, which I personally think is very beautiful.

As you already know, I prefer the cold to the warmth, although the truth is that nature can get pretty crazy this time of year too, for better or worse. Well, yeah, even the weather can be in a bad mood sometimes, just like us.

This time of year can get us down, both in terms of colds and flu-like moments when you think you've let your soul out. And on top of that, I get a depressed mood every now and then, when I'd rather crawl under the covers and not talk to anyone. That's how I feel, and it's awful. And so to avoid it as much as possible, I do this...

Here are my 2 tips...

I drink tea every morning to cool down. I prefer fruit tea, any kind. Sometimes I'll have fruit or vegetables. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't☺

Then there's my second type for a bad mood and that is: Think positive and don't give in to your doubts!

Yes, I know that sometimes you can't. I'm experiencing it now too, more than ever.

But you know what I do against it? Besides immersing myself in a book or writing? I sing to myself or hum a happy tune in the background.

My dears, believe me, it really helps. I mean, not always, but this is kind of an anchor for me to hold on to when I'm at my worst.

But just so I don't just grumble and complain about fall, there's something I love about it, and that's the way nature plays with its colors. Sometimes I'm amazed at how beautiful a tree looks. I used to bring some of those leaves home and put them in blank notebooks, and I did the same with flowers. Nature can simply be magical and full of imagination.

Even we humans can create that imagination. Take the holiday of Halloween - for us, the holiday of all the deceased. Meanwhile, in America, they celebrate in grand style, decorating their apartments and houses, and some of them look really spooky.

I, for instance, probably wouldn't want to walk into an apartment or house with a ghost or skeleton or some other monster lurking around. Like a guy with an axe. I really wouldn't want that. I'd start screaming like crazy.

What about bugs or bats? Ugh, I'd just flip out☺

Meanwhile, while we celebrate peacefully here at home and some of us make fall decorations in our gardens, I, for example, like to hollow out and paint different pumpkins and then put a candle in it.

In my house, we always used to paint different autumn themes on glass with paints and then stick them in the windows, but now we don't do that anymore as we don't have so much time.

Now we just light a candle at home and at the local cemetery and remember those who are no longer with us, although we know that somewhere in the corner of our minds and hearts they are with us always.

So that's all for today from me.

I hope you're well and that nothing is troubling you...

How about you? Do you also decorate something or just light a candle like I do and remember?
