Playfulness or the spice of adult life
Already in childhood, playfulness awakens in us.
Sometimes it happens that in adulthood we forget it a little. Other times, it resurfaces - in the form of creative ideas or going back to playing with our children. Now in autumn, we can fly a kite with the kids, throw leaves ourselves - run around, and let them fall, and why not jump in muddy puddles? Or play with chestnuts and make a nice animal, throwing pine cones at a target, not at me :-), like a tree. Let's try other activities, even though we may feel crazy in front of others, how about dancing in the rain? In warm summer weather, it can be nice :-). We often worry what others will think of us if we behave differently, unconventionally. But isn't that a shame? We tend to hide behind social masks, but in doing so we lose a piece of ourselves. On the one hand, we may feel safer, but we lose our uniqueness. Let's try to think, are we really that good at it?
Play is not just for kids, let's remember what we like to do and try to get back to it more (if you haven't already) :)
It can be board games, building a house in the woods, ball games, or playing with your voice, in short, something different is close to everyone's heart... I like playing with my voice, I have attended various voice workshops where I have tried many things. I highly recommend Voicewatch if you don't know it yet :-). Smiling can help us open our voices, breathe, and express our emotions, adding depth and color to singing. But playing with the voice is not just about singing, many speakers can also play with the voice nicely and anyone can play.
When musicians come together, it is often their playfulness that gives rise to a great song. Don't be afraid to improvise, not only in music but in life. We can play around with practically everything - from adjusting our appearance to the environment we create together. Let's try to make our homes more comfortable by adding an interesting picture or decoration that we like or, for those with a creative spirit, paint something nice on the wall. It takes a painting that we don't get bored with.
The desire to play, to invent new things seems to have always been with us. But sometimes it is suppressed by external influences - such as bans, orders, and norms that bind our behavior. We long for freedom and liberty, but at the same time we don't want to break out of the rules. The important thing is to find a way that makes us feel comfortable with others and ourselves. May that path be filled with joy, playfulness, and kindness.
Can you play? What do you personally enjoy the most? Is it important for you to be able to play?
